[Like many others, the recent experiment had caused Elliot Nightray some grief. Unlike everyone else, though, Elliot wasn't worried about his "family" situation now that things were over with. Something else has been worrying him instead. Namely...]
Everyone affected by that experiment had dreams last week, right? Did anyone dream of things that didn't happen? Or things that couldn't have happened?
[Unfortunately, there isn't much to do since it's raining, so housemates can find Elliot sitting near the living room window, reading. It doesn't look like he's enjoying it, though. Something's really bothering him about those dreams.]

I dreamt of something that should have left behind some kind of proof, but there is none.
[ written ]
Then, in that case, maybe it was just a regular dream?
[ written ]
[Which is all he'll say on that subject.]
[ written ] SORRY FOR THE LATE
Could it be something you don't remember?
[ written ] It's okay! o/

And he recognizes that picture. That guy... Maybe he should... apologize or something. He clears his throat.]
...About last week.
[...] Can we just forget about it?
[voice | filtered]
Ah... [Actually, it's kind of embarrassing knowing they argued over something that didn't even happen.] Yeah. Forget it. It was just— It was just that experiment.
[voice | filtered]
Yeah. I'm sure you're not really a murderer...

He finds his way to the living room with the ease of practice and a refined set of other senses that have not yet dulled. The barely audible sound of the Nightray reading near the window is at least a clue, though he and his servant do tend to sound much the same in their habits. A rustling of pages, quiet breathing... enough to give him a general idea.]
Dreams are funny things, aren't they?
[He takes a few steps closer.]
You know, I dreamt once that Emily was 50 feet tall and kept demanding ritualistic virgin sacrifices. But that's just silly. Emily could never grow so large.
[Action]
Do you always have such strange dreams?
[At least he knew it was a dream.]
[Action]
Not always. Sometimes I dream I'm a sour little child with no sense of humor. Ah, but I'm getting off topic. It sounds like you've had some interesting ones lately, no?
[Action]
[Action]
During the experiment, I had dreams of things that didn't happen.
