Kind of like today. In order to get away from the general annoyance that is his house, he is reading quietly in the tea shop. Surely no one would expect to find him there, right?!]

As for whether them looking is annoying; yes, usually. But sometimes it's a good thing.

If I go on a mission I do because otherwise Lupin would tear up the place. If I just go on vacation, nope! But he knows I do this, so that's your call. You can't tell them where you're going through if you don't want them to find you.
